The Holy Kingdom of Amael was originally territory that belonged to the Arleth Empire. It was a political move on the part of the Empire to release the Holy Kingdom as a sovereign state. Economically and militarily the two are closely tied together, and the Empire is always quick to come to the aid of the Holy Kingdom when it is needed.
The capital city of the Holy Kingdom of Amael is St. Lilliam. It’s named after a hero from many years ago, that predates even the founding of the Arleth Empire. They spearheaded the defense of their lands from a plot involving demons and reportedly were blessed by Amael herself.
