Vencarlo is a well known swordsman, duelist, and high society figure. His generosity and skill have won him the hearts of the common people of Korvosa. He teaches swordplay at his academy in Old Korvosa often to the members of noble houses looking to learn from the best. While most of his clients are of important and influential houses, his doors are open to anyone that can pay the tuition fees and even some who simply catch his eye as full of potential. Unfortunately he does not have any such proteges at the moment since a falling out with his last two.
